The highly figured walnut slab used to create this coffee table features a distinctive circular pattern, indicating the point where a limb intersected with the tree's main trunk, adding to it's unique character.  Contrasting maple butterfly inlay draws attention to the figure and adds an artistic touch.

To enhance the natural beauty of the unstained wood, a hand rubbed blended oil-wax finish has been carefully applied. This type of finish allows the richness of the walnut and maple to shine through, highlighting unique grain patterns and enhancing the depth of color.

Substantial hand-welded raw steel legs with waxed finish add a modern-industrial feel without distracting attention from this dramatic walnut slab.
