Conoid Live Edge Console - Walnut with Maple Seabird Inlay

Our latest Conoid live edge console was inspired by woodworking legend George Nakashima and features interlocking angled lapped bridle joinery and our signature coastal themed inlay. 

This black walnut slab has an intricate grain pattern and rich depth of color.  The live edge shape, with the crotch of an intersecting limb, adds a sense of drama and natural organic beauty to the piece.  The inlaid seabirds follow the path of the grain to create a feeling of movement.  The combination of the flowing highly figured black walnut and contrasting maple sea bird inlay creates a stunning coastal theme. 

This combination of elements brings together the beauty of nature and artistic representation, resulting in a truly unique and visually arresting piece. 

Made of solid American Black Walnut in our Coastside workshop, this console is finished with a durable hand rubbed natural oil/wax blended finish. No stains are used on this fine hardwood.
